Pool Use and Children Baxter House was conceived of as an adult community. It's basic layout, location, and general population remains so. Many of the owner/residents moved to Baxter House to live in a community without pets or children. As the Association can no longer bar residents with children, parents should understand that there are many living here who do not enjoy the sight and sounds of children. Particularly around the pool during adult hours (after 4PM). It would be considerate and neighborly if parents kept children away from the pool during these hours, keep toys out of sight, and prevent children from playing on sidewalks with scooters and bicycles (See Bylaws). If there are adults enjoying the pool, parents and children should ask if they would disturb. If the answer is to the affirmative, it would be considerate to swim later. Children should at no time be allowed to swim unsupervised. |
